The consulter of e village project Mr. Nandasiri Wanninayake kept a successful workshop for wayambalanka kids and parents. He show some vedios and presentations about Mahavilachchiya (Horizonlanka). Not only that but also presented how you can improve your English knowledge and computer skills. The workshop kept in Nagala temple.

After the workshop Mr. Wanni visited the village. While visit, he could discuss with two rural families. That village has no electricity power. But the parents are happy about evillage. They want to buy computers. But the money and power is a problem.

Mr. Nandasiri Wanninayake who connsulter of e village project came to our village. He encouraged our students and English teachers. He is happy about our students’ skills. Our students discussed with Mr. Wanninayake and they knew how do we learn English as possible.

And also Mr. Wanni visit the proposed village computer building. Mr. Somawathie who owner of that building was discussed. Specially we abled chat with villagers. Villagers were partcipating to Sramadana programme. Villagers are very happy obout evillage activities. They promised to give good help to it.

The world biggest 7 Nai Pena (cobra) statue situated in this rural area. The historical temple called Naindanawa is the owner. This is in Palagama remote village, Polpithigama, Sri Lanka. This is not famous in world. It is rare to find. But this statue is not safty. We invite all of you to visit this wonderful statue.

This is our computer centre. There are 15 computers in our here. Wayamba kids using computers very well. You can see that the computers and lab space are not enough. We are the best rural computer facilitator in Norht western Province – Sri Lanka. Students are creating their own blogs,web sites and e mails well. Most of these kids are poor. Wayambalanka hopes to improve villagers life through the IT.

There is a drinking water project started in Nikawewa rural village. The villagers can’t find pure driking water. So they have started it. Most of villagers are poor and labours are women. They eager to finish this project soon. In the drought season likes July- August villagers drink rough water.

Checked the students’ (Niwantha, Kasun, Dilip ) computers in their houses. Installed few programmes including virus protection and photoshop. Their parents are happy and proud in this miracle. Some of villagers eagerly waiting for enter their children to the Wayambalanka academy. We are ready for a huge ICT operation in this rural Nikawewa village. You can join with us too. We are enjoying the Modern Technology through our computer unit. First time in a Wayamba we introduced accessing Internet for the village people. We intend to improve ICT and the English in our village. Villagers are using computers, e-mail, internet in their houses.
